Anna’s Hummingbird Nest

Beneath this female Anna’s Hummingbird are two jellybean-sized eggs weighing less than half a gram each.
Her nest is constructed of spider webs, moss, and adorned with bits of dried leaves and lichen - a sort of camouflaging stucco. Photographed in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland.
