A Gould’s Jewelfront perches momentarily at the forest edge in the Peruvian Amazon, offering a brief view of his beautiful iridescence. This relatively large hummingbird is found throughout the shady understory of the Amazon Rainforest.
With a penchant for disappearing into the darkest recesses of the jungle, it was exciting to see this little guy out in the open!
